A month ago Notre Dame men's basketball was reeling following a humbling 71-53 loss to Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium. It was the seventh consecutive loss for the Irish.
It was the darkness before the dawn for first-year head coach Micah Shrewsberry and his young squad. Since then Notre Dame has found its groove, winning five of its next six games and six of its last nine, including Tuesday's ACC Tournament opener against Georgia Tech.
The 12th-seed Irish tried to extend their stay in Washington D.C. again Wednesday when they took on No. 5-seed Wake Forest. The Demon Deacons managed to end Notre Dame's season with a 72-59 win. Here's your instant recap:
